Dashing pirates, courageous knights, handsome cowboys, daringNative Americans, determined warriors. These were the heroes I first fell in love with within the pages of historical romance novels. I couldn't get enough Johanna Lindsey, Kathleen E. Woodiwiss, Jude Deveraux, Judith McNaught, or Lisa Kleypas, just to name a few. Is it any wonder then that the first book I wrote was an historical? A truly bad historical that has (blessedly) been shredded and burned. The next two books I wrote were also historicals and are currently, and patiently, waiting for massive overhaul. I have since branched out into paranormals and erotic romances, but I will always remain faithful to my one true love...historicals. My historicals are based mostly during America's Gilded Age, but I have pirates, knights, cowboys, and vikings strolling through several others, as well. |
